From the North: Take Rt. 5 south approx. 2 miles over the Missouri-Arkansas border. There will be a large lit sign for the Oakland area. Turn right onto Rt. 202 heading west. Travel approx. 6 1/2 miles through the small town of Oakland. Take the first right turn (County Route 124) past the Citgo sign on your left. Follow our signs 1 mile to the resort. From the South: In the town of Mountain Home, turn onto Rt. 5 north. Travel approx. 14 miles and turn left onto Rt. 202 heading west. There is a large, lit sign for the Oakland area. Travel approx. 6 1/2 miles through the small town of Oakland. Take the first right turn (County Route 124) past the Citgo sign on your left. Follow our signs 1 mile to the resort. |

If you wish to arrive by air, you can come to the Baxter County Regional Airport at Midway, Arkansas, just fifteen miles from Tall Timbers Resort. The commuter line Big Sky has connections from Dallas-Ft. Worth and St. Louis. You can call 1-800-237-7788 for details on their schedule, or call your travel agent. This airport also services private aircraft. You may rent a car right at the airport. If you want to fly into a larger airport, the closest one is Springfield -Branson Airport in Springfield, Missouri, about 100 miles from the resort. The other one is in Little Rock, Arkansas, about 175 miles from the resort. Both of these airports have car rentals on site. Check with your travel agent for schedules and airfares. |
